i think this is the point. theres no one reason why espn is losing viewers.
cord cutters are definitely a main reason but those people arent cutting the espn cord simply because of the cost. they are finding alternative ways to watch games and not have to pay for Stephen A and 6 other shows arguing over the same topic day after day.

I stopped watching ESPN mostly because it wasn't interesting to me anymore. The content besides live sports just isn't for me. The talking head shows just couldn't keep me intrigued. I can see any live sport highlights through multiple outlets and catch most of my news on these boards.
It wasn't so much the content (although I do believe it leaves much to be desired), I just lost interest in keeping up with any of it.
