You realize the reason the feds would be there to pick them up, is because they are in jail for committing a crime already, right?

No they don't. They want the locals to notify the feds when they arrest an illegal alien and hold them for the feds to pick them up. The illegals are in jail on other charges...not immigration charges.

Again. They are illegals already. they broke the law by being here. Then, the local police have picked them up for breaking ANOTHER law.

So every other city in the United States can afford it except for the liberal cities? Sounds to me like the liberals are running their cities poorly.
