Because nobody can concede. People think that just because he wasn't a dominant physical athlete, despite years of laying down ridiculous stats versus way better athletes than himself, that he couldn't be even considered one of the best ever. I will never ever in my life get why someone would think Larry Bird is over rated. There is no logical or legit argument to support that.

Honestly Bird has become underrated by the younger generation. Birds was an amazing talent, even if he wasn't a physical specimen. the guy could play.
But he's not the best ever. That's silly.
