What size router would you recommend for a 4000sq ft house and 6-8 devices, 2 rokus, 2 fire sticks, and a PlayStation? Looking to maximize wifi/ internet speed. Thanks!

I found this on sale a couple of weeks ago. It's made a world of difference.
NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1750

Netgear AC1900 router + wifi all in one.
Then get a range extender and put it in the middle of the house at a high point.

Just bought a router for 6.99. Ac1200 don't care. Even if it's marginal it cost less than a cheap lunch.

I just got the Netgear Orbi and it works extremely well. For a 4000 sq ft house a mesh or mesh type system is your best bet.

That's what I would get if I had a 4000 sq ft home. Google wifi is a really good setup. I'd prob get 3 of them.

arstechnica just posted a new mesh router article yesterday.
TLDR: Orbi if you are ok fiddling with it. Plume if you want wifi to work all the time every time, everywhere and don't mind if it isn't the fastest.
