re: Living in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN?

My brother lived in Apple Valley and now lives in Golden Valley. He likes both areas just fine except for the Winter, of course. Apple Valley is more in the suburbs and Golden Valley is more in the city.

I'm sure there are plenty of things to do in a city of that size. The people seem weird to me. They are standoffish unless they know you, whereas in the south strangers often say hello if they cross paths.
