I just moved to Lexington about 2 months ago from Baton Rouge. I'll be driving in from Atlanta that Saturday morning sometime. I was going to try to make the Sunday game, but I'd love to make it out there Saturday as well. It just depends on what time and how tired I am from sitting in meetings all week. What time is the game?

I see you live in Lexington too. I'd love to meet you since you're an LSU fan!

Saturday game is at 5:30. Sunday is at 12.

No excuses to miss the Saturday game now. We could use the fan support.

My Wife and I are driving down from PA to take in the whole series.
We plan on tailgating all three days.
We will look for other Tiger fans.

Looks like it could be a pretty good series.

Jimbeaux1964, is that an invite to your tailgate? Me and a Cincy friend can bring whatever you need us to.

Here's my thread from Monday:
anyone traveling to the LSU-UK baseball game(s)?

quote:

I've got a work trip following the LSU-UK series, to Chicago and Indianapolis, so I'm gonna make it to at least two LSU games in Lexington. A fellow Tiger, just north of Cincy, will join me.

Any Friday or Saturday tailgates being planned near Cliff Hagan Stadium? We'll bring the Kentucky Bourbon and other good stuff!

P.S. this will be the first trip I am taking since breaking my fibula (at ankle) in January. Really looking forward to 'carefully' letting loose a bit that weekend, and catching some Tiger Baseball!

To All that replied, yes, please feel free join us on Saturday. Bring your libations and enjoy the day. We will set up in the right field parking area around noonish EDT (KY time). I will be cooking a 12 gallon pot of jambalaya and should have plenty of Cajun and Zydeco music geauxing. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Geaux Tigers!

Awesome!! nicklsu and I will be on a bourbon distillery tour around noon, and we'll bring a bottle from there, plus maybe a few cold soft drinks for mixing (or a cold 2 or 3 liter).

Probably going to Woodford Reserve in Versailles, KY

Thank you Jimbeaux!
