t's mind blowing that you think "Russians" influenced people's votes. Was anyone undecided in the election at all in order for them to be influenced in such a way?

Regardless, every country on earth does this. Also, their are no (Zero) actual ramifications from this.

I don't know if Russia was involved or not my friend....I kind of doubt it....BUT it is intellectually dishonest to say categorically that it did or didn't effect votes one way or the other. That is like me saying water is wet and you saying water is wet and us arguing for years about what wet means.

We both agree that Trump won the election in the manner in which we conduct elections. It doesn't matter HOW voters reached the conclusion they reached....it only matters that they did. What does matter greatly is the fact that this president MAY...I am not saying he has....but MAY have receieved the benefit of Russia meddling in the election on his behalf...IF there is strong enough evidence of that AND the GOP supports this president and goes along with his agenda and nominates him again in 4 years then the GOP will have that as part of their parties history from now on. I don't know what that means or what the effect will be but that is what is at stake....the GOP will be known from now on as a political party which benefits from Russian meddling in elections.

I don't think it matters a tinkers damn to the base of the party....just like the base of the democratic party their guy can do nothing that is wrong...but it could certainly have an impact on moderates and moderates are where you win elections....

I'm not sure I understand. You don't think they meddled.

Ok. And we know Hillary received help in influencing the Democratic primaries, yet they still supported her as their candidate.

Should we ever trust the Democratic primaries again?
I mean, doesn't their involvement in trying to fix an election call into question all Democratic candidates from now on? That is the assertion you are making about Trump, so I have to assume you feel the same about the Democratic Party, right? Keep in mind, that there is a whole lot more evidence that Hillary and the DNC influenced the election than the Russians.

And, as you so succinctly ponted out:
