2001-was an incredible series, especially with the events that preceeded it.
1993-was a good series, with perhaps one of the greatest moments ever (Carter's walkoff). Add to that Sean McDonough with one of my favorite television calls ever.
2016- was the most special. Easily. With the most incredible Game 7 ever.
Eta: Of course there are more, but off the top of my head for World Series I have watched, those three come to mind

Bill Mazeroski with the game 7 walk-off HR, after the Pirates scored 5 in the bottom of the 8 to take a 2-run lead, only to have the Yankees score 2 in the top of the 9th to tie it back up.
Fun trivia: Who is that out there playing LF for the Yankees?
(Gil McDougald was at 3B, and Johnny Blanchard was at C.)
