I bet at least 75% of the people didn't know you could be booted due to airlines over booking before this incident

This is worse than the technicality of who is right (of course when you get the shite beaten out of you all of that goes out of the window. United is fricked)

This is public perception. The perception of most people is that airlines are a pain in the arse, treat customers like shite and frick them over...it's well earned. Add the beating on top of it and United is in some pretty deep shite with consumers who i think have had it.
