louis ck (good comedian btw) is the ultimate hater
denis leary is big...he stole my jokes
dane cook is big...he stole my jokes
before louis ck broke through there wasn't a successful comedian who didn't steal everything from him

But Leary and Cook did steal jokes.

Denis Leary actually did steal Louis CK material. Louis CK wrote "a-hole" and Leary made millions off of it.

And he is, arguably, the most respected working comedian by his peers....he is referred to as the comedians comedian. He never claimed anyone stole everything from him but there were a bunch of people who simply did use his ideas....and if you read or hear him speak on the subject you will find that he says it is inevitable and that they all do it....
Heres what happened, apparently, according to Louise CK...he did a set and was followed by another comedian...and that comedian would riff on what the first comedian had done...it is inevitable, especially when the first comedian is on which Louise CK is, apparently, almost always hitting on cylinders, again according to his peers...and the material worked so well the second comedian just naturally used it going forward....
If you follow stand up pretty closely and read press about stand up comedy and watch things where comedians talk about other comedians Louise CK and Sara Silverman are two that seem to be held in very high esteem by their peers....
