Yeah, I thought about that but I'm just talking about the specific job. Nobody there was paid anything extra (beyond normal pay and combat entitlements) and the equipment was readily available. I was in Iraq at that time. It didn't make a damn whether I was filling sandbags, burning shite, or tearing down a statue. I was already there and the pay was the same.
