Are the animals that are committing the violent murders in N.O. going to put their guns down if and when these are removed? If so, I'm all for it. If not, the removal of these do nothing except take away from the history that is N.O. and the deep south. You can remove all the statues and textbooks you want, the history of this country is the history of this country. Don't like it, leave. Whether you agreed with the ways and acts of those times is irrelevant to the conversation. It's about the history and preserving it for future generations to look back on and learn from.
