re: Paying child support with joint custody

man, i had a very similar situation. had never gone through this before of course, so once an amount was agreed upon, and the court approved it, I just started sending her checks.

about a year or so into it, one of our normal fights break out, and she tells he county in cali that i haven't been paying child support. they run their numbers and it comes back that i owed $4700. i was like hell no, i paid that crap to her.

i had moved back to louisiana from cali and tried getting copies of checks from an account that had been closed. i was able to get some info from the bank, and provided that to the county. they did reduce my total to about $4200......when i came into some money, it was all given straight to her. so technically, she got paid twice!!!

and now, my son lives with me, and when he goes there, she has the nerve to ask for money for things like groceries because he's older and has an appetite. Trick Please!
