No you clearly don't understand how infrastructure works. Your node is overloaded with traffic. It doesn't matter what type of traffic it is, traffic is traffic. Your special YouTube or Netflix lane isn't going to work any better when 100s of home are running traffic through the same node.

The fast lane concept is about them throttling services to those sites to make them even slower unless you pay for it. Things like data caps have nothing to do with management of the network, congestion or one person using more data making someone else's internet worse.

Once again they need to upgrade the infrastructure to redirect traffic to increase service.

I clearly do understand. My ISP is only making money off its subscribers. But if they were allowed to sell ads, and offer fast lanes to subscribers, then they could re-invest in my infrastructure and then be able to also sell me fast lane service

And if they wont, someone else will

But the FCC regs, and NN were keeping them from maximizing profits. So I'm stuck, until the rules and laws are changed
