I am starting to like this idea of Jrue just sliding to SG full time, and a possible addition of Rubio to run PG.

Maybe pull a trade off with us getting Rubio and trading away Moore and Ajinca and throwing in a 2nd. (not sure if wolves are interested).

The starting 5 is very appealing. Should be stout defensively and when you have boogie and AD you have the offense. Need to find one more shooter to sign in FA to go with this(Tucker, Illyasova,Bogdonavic, Ingles) and move on from monti/dante.

One thing I worry about with Holiday at SG is that he's just OK as a 3P shooter. That lineup you listed with Rubio they can completely play off of Rubio and Hill to clog up the paint on Cousins and AD. I wouldn't hate Rubio, but that seems like a team that should Grit and Grind, not Space and Pace. If Hill and Holiday are your starting wings and Gentry is the coach, you have to hope they can trade for Dragic. Even Bledsoe gives you some of the same spacing concerns as Rubio because he's not a good 3 point shooter either.

I'll never understand the love affair many have with Rubio. Dude was so over hyped when he first came over and hasn't lived up to half of that on the court. The same with Dante Exum. Would Rubio be an upgrade over Tim? yes. But he doesn't move the needle that much for anyone to desire him.
