re: What is your opinion of those who get rid of their dogs?

I had a dog who was my favorite dog ever, born with three legs hand fed her till she could hop around. Few yrs later we had a kid and the dog growled at her every time she was around. Nobody would take her cuz she wouldn't hop on hardwood or tile only carpet, would not send her to a pound. After a few weeks had no choice but to put her down. Still miss her till this day.
