At this point, this team is in no way a championship caliber team. The bull pen is in bad shape while clutch hitting simply does not exist. Decent teams have exposed them. Padding your stats and hype against weaker opponents doesn't mean crap if you can't match up against the big boys. CPM has his work cut out for himself. Ain't holding my breath.

This is what makes this thread relevant and worth discussing IMO. Historically under CPM the majority of LSU's lineup has struggled against high-level arms on the mound. Every once in a while they come across a big league talent and predictably struggle but they continually make really good collegiate pitchers look outstanding.
