I don't think Touro owned slaves himself, but may have participated with ships and such.

I don't know. I assumed he owned slaves at some point, because he died before the Civil War, which is the other way to get on the naughty list. But, on the other, there are Take 'Em Down NOLA supporters who think Andrew Jackson fought in the Civil War.
