I'd argue that the recent shootings of minorities (as in the Indians in South Carolina, Missouri and Seattle) as well as things like this reflects a change in the national mood, which is immediately a political topic. But I can also see how people can argue that these are just isolated incidents, unconnected and disparate. For me this fits in with what is usually posted on this board.
