This is much like my life. Especially the Trolls part. I tend to have critics I like, and I read their reviews because I tend to trust their judgment. But I don't like reducing reviews to good/bad. Look, some bad movies are totally worth watching just for the attempt. I love "interesting failures" while I can't abide competent mediocrities.

But Rotten Tomatoes hasn't ruined a thing. It simply aggregates reviews. Read them. If you don't and just trust a silly score, it's your own fault. Brett Ratner has done more harm to movies than RT has.
