Someone gave it to me for Christmas. I will say that it is actually good. Very political, but the songs are thought provoking and the music is great. There is a song on there called "Ever South" that is one of their best songs ever, IMO.
I'll have to give it another listen. I'm the same way - very conservative, and a lot of the reviews I read mentioned the same thing. It's like they felt they made enough good albums that they could pull something like that off.
