Quick, name a former mizzou basketball player?
You can't, B/c they aren't a basketball school of relevance. They haven't won a conference championship in over 20 years, and have zero final fours.
I'll help. Demarre Carroll went to mizzou.
Kids don't grow up in Missouri wanting to play for Missouri. That's not the case here either, but that could change at LSU.
While mizzou may be easier to take over and make the tourney next year, LSU is easier to build a program that can reach final fours.

Grew up in same town and idolized this guy when he was in HS. Lights out shooter and became good NBA player and then commentator.
