Dr Cannon explained the stringed undies can cause bacteria, including E. Coli, to spread from the anus to the vagina. She revealed: “Think about where the string slides when you sit down in a thong.”

I've heard a couple bulldykes say this nonsense, and I just don't get it. If a string slides back and forth, why wouldn't the granny panties do the same?

Dykes gonna dyke.

Well, not that I've ever worn either, but I assume that granny panties cover the broad area, and are less likely to spend a lot of time in the crevice area.

From what I understand, its the crevice area where you are more likely to find the E Coli

Also (again I am assuming) you are more likely to notice the E Coli on granny panties than on a thong, at which time you are more likely to turn them inside out, in order to be able to re-wear them
