Yep. Vouchers are just big government getting bigger, I can't understand why people on here are for that.

Democrats need to answer if vouchers fall into the government's responsibility if it is their duty to provide an education for students in the era of failed public schools.

Republicans (and rich Democrats like Franken) need to provide an answer as to why school choice and the option for private boarding schools is good for their kids, but not for inner city children stuck in hopeless situations and bad public schools.

In reality we are spending the money on those inner city kids one way or another. I think we should take measures to ensure that those kids are getting the tools they need to become productive members of society. That may mean the option o attending a better school a few miles away or a boarding school 40 miles away for particularly troubled kids.
