Anyone have experince with pull behinds/5th wheels? I was told they are constant maintenance from being so cheaply made. This made me pause before looking into getting one.

Like said before, doesn't matter how much they cost. I have friends with near $300k motorhomes that after just about every trip need to go in for something. There is a reason they call them "land yachts".

in my experience, all RVs are pretty high maintenance rigs.

everything in them is lightly made to keep the overall weight down....unfortunately, that generally equates to a lack of durability.

They are cheaply made. My travel trailer is about 7k fully loaded and my Dodge pulls it with ease. I've never had any issues after a year of moving around.
