Why didn't all those companies (China & Japan, too) announce increased investment in America BEFORE the election results were known? Any or all of these companies or countries couldve made these announcements last October (or even earlier). But, they didn't.

Plenty of companies have been investing in the US before Trump won. The difference now is that the President is tweeting about it and CEOs took the free publicity. Remember when GE announced an investment of 1 billion after the election? Would it surprise you that GE announced an investment of almost 3 billion the year before and no one noticed

That's not to say that Presidents can't impact economic growth. Merely that the US economy has been growing for seven years with millions of new jobs. That doesn't happen without companies investing in the US

If you were a businessman or a foreign entity considering an investment in America, with whom would you feel more comfortable? Here are your choices:

(1) An astute, mega-successful businessman who just got elected, partly by promising to reduce both taxes and regulations on corporations, or

(2) Mr. "You didn't build that" community agitator who is (was) clueless about business & never met a regulation he didn't like.

Who would you choose to do business with?

Even with the dual artificial stimulants of QE and 0% interest rates, we never experienced one quarter of 3% growth in 8 years. Not one. I mean, even with the Fed cheating on his behalf, Obama was clueless about jobs, business & the economy.

Obama was interested in one thing and one thing only. Acting as an agent of change in order to fundamentally transform the United States of America. He even told us this BEFORE his first election, even though he subsequently lied about having said it years later during a Superbowl interview with Bill O'Reilly.
