Interesting video of this new load. This load could be devastating to a deer, hog, or self defense round. The 'wonder bullet" SIAP. LINK

Might be great for inside house defense? Low brass, big expansion.
ETA: you doin ok up there now, I know you were dealin' with some issues. ?

Absolutely not what you want for hogs, and not really what I'd want for deer either. I like ammo that penetrates for hunting.

I figured it would do a lot of internal damage real quick and put em down? Then again, we don't have em up here yet and I know absolutely nothing about killing them other than what yall post here on the OB.

To be totally honest with you, we don't have any on our hunting lease. These loads would probably work well with small to medium hogs. The guys I know that have shot big ones all say they can be very tough to get good penetration.

The slow motion video in the link shows the slug tumbling into the targets. I would think that undermines any expansion abilities but still seem to break up without coming out the other end. For hogs n deer, I'll stick with my nosler ballistic tips. My 257 weatherby turns chest cavities into blood jelly

That 257 is such a beast. I switched from that to a 6.5 creed in the same rifle and I think I like the creed better but the 257 was one of the best I've owned
