Most not all. I'd trade 6 extra hours off a day (VAdawg) for my shite Internet I'd wait in line for that only worked half the time anyway

There were stretches we'd have 12 off, far and few between for us though

We did hit ports twice as often though. I'll give you that

Yeah... we would have to go 6 on 6 off on duty days and have duty every other day if we weren't in homeport. I've mentioned it before on TD, but my sub had a bit of a morale problem and was criminally undermanned. I saw greater than 3 section duty once in 4 years on board.

And like I said, we never REALLY had 12 hours off. Most hours of those 12 hours were filled with training, drills, and maintenance.

The Sub Service had deals with Hollywood to send movies to our ships before their official DVD release date

We'd find the movies with the most T&A and play the shite out of it in the crew mess

You could also find a game of spades being played in the crew mess

But like other bubbleheads said, there really isn't much downtime. Maybe 2-3 hours per week.

There was always a USB drive filled with porn being passed around amongst guys in your division

M-W-F were drill days, T-TH were preventative maintenance days
