Its pretty typical to bring your children as toddlers to the dentist for the first time (I think).
Is it?
My niece is 13 months and doesn't have a whole lot of teeth.

My son is 22 months old and has all of his teeth, and I spoke to my dentist the other day and he recommends their first visit being around 24 months. At 14 months, my son had less teeth than a waffle house waitress, so (though I am not a dentist) I would see no need to take him to the dentist at that age.
