Link.
Every link i click on for 2015 lsu roster has LF at 235 lbs.
The only site that had him below 235 was his rivals profile.
Les Miles came out and said it:

“I think Leonard was 235 or 233 (pounds) or so during spring,” Miles said Thursday on the “Paul Finebaum Show.” “We want him right around 225. So that his strength and speed are kind of maximized. He’s an elite guy and he wants to be in an elite body as he goes into the fall. I think that certainly this summer will provide him that opportunity.
But that doesn't mean he's necessarily out of shape here either

I agree 240 isnt optimal weight. His most effective weight is probably 225-233. I just dont think being 240 is such a huge problem. He was the fastest player on the field at 235. 5 more lbs isnt some huge weight issue, imo anyway

Out of shape is a relative term. Obviously, he's not out of shape compared to most people. But, he's not at his optimal weight. And, this is an important event. You'd think he'd want to be at his peak. It begs a few questions about that ankle, IMO.
