wife and I did a marriage class and they showed us the stats

its between year 7-8, hence the 7 year itch started


They explained thats because couples usually wait 2.5 years after getting married to have kids, then said kid is entering the tough years (2-5) and then most couples add a second kid to the mix. when that second kid hits they've been married usually 6-7 years and after a year of that is when most marriages are really put to the test.
