I think Madison Prep could have shown a little restraint at some point and maybe worked on their half-court game or something...what are you proving by putting 134 on the board against a team that was put in a spot they shouldn't have been in in the first place?

Normally I would agree with you. There is no point in running it up on inferior competition, but in this instance I won't be so quick to judge.

Rosepine is really bad and Madison Prep is really, really good. I'm sure they could have scored 200 if the coach really wanted to. I have watched some of these Cenla teams put out 6th and 7th graders as starters. I don't know what the make up of Rosepine's team is, but a 7-22 team shouldn't be in the playoffs in 2A.

I would like to know what the score at half time was and when did Coach Jones pull out his starters and insert his bench. Even still, chances are that Madison Prep's 11-15 is light years ahead of anything Rosepine could put out there.

We are no longer in the regular season, it's the playoffs and Coach Jones has a right to let his kids go full speed and to make sure all of his players are all in. Plenty of schools have opted out of the playoffs before. Rosepine wanted the chance, so live with the results.
