There is no good reason to use a Microsoft browser if you're not accessing a government computer or certain government sites.
I'm still at Firefox (mostly), because I use a number of plug ins. However, I've used Chrome off and on for years - and see a time in the near future where I'll be all Chrome.

Used them for a while but their plugins do not mesh with some AutoCad 2016 for some reason.

I believe Firefox 52 is disabling plug-ins.
