Yeah Im sure this is faked some how. Im pretty sure there is quite an industry in china of playing the "Dishiprined Chinese Kung Fu Master" for westerners.
I keep looking at the second gif and the more I watch it the more I see wrong with the entire thing. From his shiny, costume looking outfit, to how light and easily movable the log looks, to how quickly it stops and the little hop he does before it hits him.
