Trading Jones is more a favor to him and our connections on the team than it is likely to bring the Pels anyone back. He was primed to receive 8-12/yr this offseason prior to the Cousins trade with the level he'd been playing at and the amount of playing time. This close to a big payday, the Pels are willing to let him go to keep that circle happy.
