During your next practice session, on your downswing, try to hit the ball w/ the butt (grip) of your club (i.e. base of left hand). Obviously it is impossible to do, but that action will ensure that your hands/club will be well ahead of the ball at impact.

That will do the trick & you will be hitting the ball more solid than ever!!!

You cannot hit the "tour striker" mentioned above w/o this tip.

go to a golf tech for 99 bucks you get session and swing tape, I went in August, I don't worry bout all the emails, see Rob Murphy I liked him

hitting the ball with the butt end of the grip seems to be what a lot of top players do. I wonder if this is the feel most of them have?

When you make this move your hips automatically start clearing.

the only problem with this being your swing key is that you don't come over the top. You still have to pull the butt end of the club through the slot.

no offense, but please don't do this. this doesn't fix the problem. but it will have you shanking the ball in no time.
