It was the trigger on the Remington 700 from 1962 to 2006. During one of these exposes (I think back in 2010) - a then 98-year old Walker admitted he was probably going to get into trouble from Remington, but that He identified the potentially unsafe condition came up with with a 5 cent fix for his own trigger in 1948 when it was still in development.
Part of the problem is wear and part of the problem is user adjustability with these particular designs.

So are they replacing the walker triggers as well? Was just gifted a 1966 model 700.
