I was thinking Ro Laren. A very Star Trekky episode, with the weird-speaking aliens making Capt. Rick fight for the survival of his crew.
This is the best analogy I've seen for last nights episode and there won't be better.

How could any group have an unsatisfied demand for guns?
I'm guessing that just 1% or less of humans survived, so there would be tons of empty houses and stores full of guns.
The guns on just one residential block in the average suburban neighborhood would supply an army. Add in the Wal-Marts, Bass Pro, wholesale distributors, etc., and the remaining humans should be awash in guns.
Not even the Saviors would be able to collect and hoard all the guns in a decent size region. It would take far too many man hours.
