Firstly, the CIA overthrew the democratically elected Iranian gov't in the early 50's. We installed a puppet in the Shah would was a brutal dictator. The Iranians overthrew him in the 70's and went to a Islamic based system. Well, that really chapped our arse so we confiscated and froze all the Iranian assets. The money that Obama "ransomed" back to Iran was their money in the first damn place. WE LITERALLY STOLE IT FROM THEM. Holy fricking, frick. It was their God Damned money.

We funded Saddam Hussein and supported him in the war with Iran. We've surrounded their country with military bases. We destroyed their centrifuges with a crypto virus attack. Is there any wonder why they don't like us?
