I didn't realize this was a true story.
She's considered the worst opera singer of all time. She was a rich vanity singer who financed her own concerts. But she had 1 show at Carnegie Hall with the most requested tickets ever.
The way Meryl Streep sings her songs in the movie based on her life is even a little funnier than the real thing.
The movie is hilarious.
