So I bought 2 sous vide units last spring which I use quite often. One crapped out 9 months into the warranty period. I wrote the company and this is the what I get in response. The units were purchased from newegg.com.
Let's go to work OT.....what's my response.

Apologize for wasting their time since you voided the warranty by purchasing from a non-authorized retailer?

Send them a pic of your raw meat.

Check their own website for authorized re-sellers.
I had a company tell me the same thing, but from their own website - the "where to buy" link sent me to NewEgg.
If that doesn't do it - start over with a ndifferent email address and say you bought it from an "authorized" dealer. Look one up and then photoshop that logo on your invoice.

Nothing like a lil mail fraud to get another meat warmer

Try going through your credit card company maybe? Some have warranty protection services and whatnot.
