Wireless isn't there yet and there will always be a need to hardwire some things. I would say put some plastic tube in the wall so that you can change things out easily in the future. I'm building in the next 2 years and will go that route.

Did this in my house. I ran a couple of conduits from the attic down the wall into my living room where all my entertainment stuff is located. I've already had to use it a couple of times to drop new wires and it's so much easier than trying to fish wiring through insulation.

I also installed a box in one of the bedroom closets as a central hub. Ran coax and ethernet from there to all of the bedrooms and living room.
