You don't know what you are talking about.
It got through the city's full board of alderman after being voted down by the ways and means committee the first time. Adjustments were made and the ways and means committee approved and sent it the the full board of alderman for a vote, which passed. It is set for a public vote.
The financials are at minimum neutral for the city because the amended ticket taxes put in at the 11th hour. And all the players in city politics are in favor. They will campaign for it and it will pass.
