happened in the old days. Kenny Stabler admitted so in his book. boosters came to his house, gave him some cash and told him to pack up and get in their car. next thing he knew he was in a hotel room until he signed the damn papers. then he was sent to a car dealer where he "bought" his first car. he said he never paid a penny and the bills never showed up so he kept his mouth shut. recruiting was really tough in those days.
