You know something's going to happen but it still exceeds your worst fears when it's a horde of clickers and a bloater.
I beat this first try on hardest difficulty and I started the generator before I had the swipe key and then i was struggling to find the exit. So many memorable moments in that game both cinematically and gameplay

I've played through it 4-5 times. Every time I have to walk the path from the generator to the security door immediately before I start the generator
