Unfortunately, I think the only thing that could save LSU is if some information came to light that in Alleva's work history there was an episode where he wrongly terminated a coach and canceled an athletic season based upon an off-field scandal that was completely fabricated. Short of that unlikely scenario happening, I think LSU is stuck.

Could always see what he's used the university credit card on. Ask former "undefeated" Alabama coach Mike Price about that.
