Still plenty of wood stock guns and benelli is included in that, but for duck hunting 90% or more are going to prefer synthetic. Don't want a wood stock near the coast or marsh or similar. Benelli knows this so they don't offer it for the SBE series

I have a SBE with a wood stock. Hunted pretty harsh condition for years and it has never caused a problem.
