Nebraska fires DC; looking to make splash hire

Mike Riley fired his longtime DC and close buddy, Mark Banker. Fans are clamoring for Riley to make a splash hire, from everyone from Rob Ryan to Jim Haslett being name-dropped. One popular suggestion was Dave Aranda. I was quick to point out that Aranda's not going anywhere

Jesus people. Les Miles is an offensive Line coach. Not a D.C. His great defenses at LSU were because of great DCs that went other places. Don't know how many people have said this so far. Just because his kid is committed does not mean he's a good option for defensive coordinator
