I don't recall there being any discount. I know when pawpaw and I went get ours, we had to make 3 trips because he always forgot something to do with his military. I think they just want all proof of discharge you have. I think divorce papers and whatnot are required too. You'd think the background check would tell them that, but it was on the application.
