Man, EVERYTHING is that guy's fault.
Seriously though, Hurts was good enough to win. Bama's D, offensive playcalling, and the Bo injury cost them the game, IMO.

No, what cost Alabama the game last night was going 2/15 or so on third down with an average to go on 3rd of like 9.5.
The run game wasn't there because Clemson didn't think hurts could beat them through the air and they were right.
The D played like a game and quarter. They faced 99 offensive plays.

Hurts was 13 for 31. You're playing the most dynamic offense and best QB in the country. Clemsons D only had to focus on 10 yards beyond the LOS. The fact the Bama wasn't down 3 scores is miraculous.
That won't get it done. Bama's D held that offense in check most of the game. You can't expect them to do it for essentially 2 games worth of snaps in one against Desean Watson.
Also don't forget about 3 or 4 key drops by Bama receivers that killed important drives and would've kept the clock rolling and Bama's D off the field.
Even with all that, Bama literally lost the game at the last second.
